Hello! Long time no talk!

Sorry I've been M.I.A. but this quarter in school is kicking my ass. My classes are all really difficult and on top of that I have work and volunteering and chapter (oh yeah - I joined a sorority!). Plus last week I had midterms in every single one of my classes so I'm just really exhausted.

But anyway, back to the fun stuff.

Last night was my dad's birthday, so my family and I went out to dinner at Del Frisco's Grille (so yum) and then had cake at home after! This is the outfit I wore to dinner last night :)

I got this black Anthropologie blazer for Christmas and I love it. It's so cool to wear over a dress or just with jeans, and definitely not just for the office. The button up I've had for a long time and it's actually a men's one! I tied it up because...it just looked cooler that way (not a good idea when its 30 degrees outside though, like it was last night). Finally, I just threw on my good ol' black jeans to keep with the black-and-white theme and my crazy platform heeled booties to add a little extra something to the outfit.

As for my makeup, I kept it super simple but put on hot pink lipstick for a pop of color!
